Hyvän Tuulen Sauna has offered sauna boat cruises in Helsinki since 2018. With eight years of experience, we provide maritime sauna experiences in the Eastern Helsinki archipelago. Our skippers Kalle, Onni, Ile and Tuure make sure every sauna boat cruise is safe and unforgettable. Our work is built on authenticity, closeness to the sea and community.
Story
Our story
The mission of Hyvän Tuulen Sauna is to bring relaxation and well-being to people. We strive for excellence in löyly, service, fairness and in making YOU feel as comfortable as possible.
The story begins at the same time in Tampere and Helsinki, when Captain Kalle and the twins became interested in sauna boats. On the Helsinki side, Onni and Ilmari set up a sauna boat company, while Kalle took up captain’s duties in Tampere. Our paths ran separately until 2022, when Kalle jumped aboard the Helsinki sauna boat crew. The bonds deepened, and in 2023 Kalle and the twins were pushing the sauna boat business forward together. In 2024 we changed our name to Hyvän Tuulen Sauna — and that’s the course we’re keeping!
We have offered sauna boat cruises in Helsinki for eight years. Creating maritime experiences is like second nature to us! Captain Kalle has driven sauna boats in Tampere and Helsinki, Onni and Ile in Helsinki, on the same waters for eight years now. Tuure is coming for his second summer and the vibe is still great.
